Superman design

after uploading the red hood I was in a good frame of mind to carry on my
own and other projects. came up with the idea of a simple redesign of superman, Now he wanted the superman eradicator and
the Jim Lee new 52 look. so the cape goes into the shield and the symbol was a chest piece as well as a armour of the suit.

So I am the first to say that I am not a huge superman fan, I am a batman fan, but after doing tons and tons of research, looking at other peoples design so as to not copy but stay in the guidelines
of the character. I used different blues and different reds for each design, initial there were 6 sketches that i did but i then turned to more of an organic look then a hard surface design.
so I scrapped the 5 mech suit designs and went for a more natural armour with separate plates and fibres.
I kept some elements of the MOS, new 52, the original version of superman in the early years.

SO in total, i painted 8 faces of superman but went with two that i think fits both a young one and an old one,
and a total of 23 sketches of the symbol and 18 graphic designs of the symbol.
Probably one of the toughest challenges I have had cause I never before this ever even designed a superman suit.
My favorite is the 4th and 5th design. Which one do you guys like?
